The Bucknell University Institute for Learning and Development (BUILD) is Bucknell’s institutional learning and development framework for employees, offering both structured and personalized approaches to learning and skills development.

The Division of Talent, Culture & Human Resources is overseeing the creation and execution of BUILD in partnership and collaboration with other stakeholders and divisions across campus. BUILD will launch over a three-year period, beginning in 2025. Programming will include both learning lanes that offer structured development experiences as well as ad-hoc learning options and will include a variety of learning modalities to meet employees where, when and how they want and need to learn to support their growth and development. Learning options may include in-person or virtually facilitated workshops and sessions, online and on-demand courses, microlearning opportunities and simulations.
