Tuition Grants

Tuition grants for study at an accredited institution are available for dependent children. Tuition grants are equal to 60% of Bucknell's tuition, or tuition at the admitting institution, whichever is less. Tuition grant applications should be submitted once the student has enrolled in courses. This application is completed in the Benefits & Wellness worklet in Workday and requires the attachment of the billing statement from the institution. Please ensure the billing statement includes the student's name and student ID number, the name and address of the institution, and an itemization of the tuition and fees.

For institutions that divide their academic year into three (3) or four (4) parts (i.e. trimesters or quarters) rather than the traditional two (2)-semester year, grants will be calculated so the amount paid over the full academic year is equal to two (2) traditional semesters. Please note in your tuition grant request that the school bills on trimesters or quarters so the payment can be processed correctly.

Children participating in the tuition grant program may also be eligible for summer grants. Summer grants are available for summer courses taken during the student's regular eight (8) semesters of course study and are not counted towards the eight (8) semester maximum per child. Summer grants are equal to 60% of Bucknell's tuition for two (2) summer courses.
