The University provides benefits-eligible full-time and part-time faculty and staff with a life insurance policy valued at 1.5 times their annual base salary, limited to $200,000. This coverage includes accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, in the event of accidental death. In addition to the life insurance provided by the University, benefits-eligible employees may elect to purchase additional life insurance and/or accidental death and dismemberment coverage for themselves, their spouse/spousal equivalent, and/or dependent children.
