B-Swipes Donation Program

B-Swipes is a pilot program that allows students in need of food assistance to request additional meal swipes for entry at campus dining venues. The effort began a yearlong trial period in November 2020. When the program launches during the fall 2021 semester, students will be able to donate unused meal swipes to the program through the GET App. Meal swipes that have been donated by Parkhurst Dining are available now. Students with demonstrated need may receive up to three meals through B-Swipes.

Please note that B-Swipes is not meant to be a full meal plan or replace the meal plans offered through the University dining program.

Questions about the program may be directed to:

How to Request Assistance

  1. Complete the B-Swipes Request Form. You will be asked for your name, BUID and the number of meals per week you are requesting (up to three per week).
  2. Your request will be reviewed and you will be notified with a decision as quickly as possible.
  3. As approved, meal swipes will be added to your dining account.

Donating Swipes

Plans are underway to allow students to donate some of their swipes to others in need through the GET App, starting in the Spring 2021 semester. The number of meals students will be able to donate and other details are still under review. These details will be announced when finalized.
