Employee Assistance Program & Health Advocacy

Bucknell University offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and health advocacy services through our partner, Health Advocate, at no cost to you.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides Licensed Professional Counselor to listen to your needs. They will help define the problem clearly, assess the type of assistance you need, and either provide the needed support or make the most appropriate, cost-effective referral for you. These services are available to benefits-eligible faculty and staff.

The health advocacy service provides personalized assistance to help you and your family navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. Health advocacy services are available to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff, their spouse/spousal equivalent, dependent children, and parents, and parents-in-law. This program is also available to all University retirees and their spouses/spousal equivalents.

With Licensed Professional Counselors and Personal Health Advocates on staff, and 24/7/365 availability, Health Advocate offers convenient and confidential support, right when you need it.
